The following surveys were conducted by WisRID and WAD to solicit feedback from members of the community on licensure issues, concerns, and proposed changes. 

 

October 2015 -  Sign Language Interpreter Task Force (SLIT) initial survey on concerns, gaps, loopholes, and other issues with current licensure law for DSPS interpreters.

March 2017 - Survey from the Licensure Committee after reviewing the recommendations from SLIT, the survey feedback from November 2016, and meeting with multiple stakeholder groups.
